Lewis & Irene

At Doughty's, we have a wide range of Lewis and Irene fabric to suit a range of projects. A British, family run business which spans three generations, Lewis and Irene designs are printed on 100% pre-shrunk cotton with a light Schreiner finish - it is hard-wearing, beautifully soft to the touch and is perfect for its purpose. As with most craft fabrics, each print is 44" wide.

As well as the sheer quality of the fabric, Lewis and Irene's work sets itself apart by the beautiful designs that are printed on it. While many are of a uniquely British bent, depicting harboursides and cottages as well as tartan/stag patterns, there is also some fun, quirky work illustrating the Wild West, the Nativity and ocean scenes. Whatever you choose as your design, you can be sure that it will be a soft, silky and practical choice for your patchworks and quilts.
