This fusible wadding is lightly needlepunched and lightly resin bonded. Can be quilted up to 4" apart. Easy to quilt by hand or machine. WILL SHRINK about 3-5% to give an antique look unless pre-washed.

Great for both hand and machine quilting, with 2-3% shrinkage.

The brilliant and very soft Sew Simple Eco Wadding is made from 100% recycled material: 70% cotton and 30% polyester. This is a truly green solution but looks a shade of off-white! Sew Simple Eco Wadding is available in 15 metre bolts and 7.5 metre boards.

This wadding combines the softness and breathability of cotton with durability and stability of polyester.

Voluminous fusible foamed interlining laminated with wefts on both sides and made of synthetic matierals with high abrasion resistance. Use for creative needlework with 3D effects; for the padding of protective pouches for mobile phones and glasses as well as for the stabilisation of bags, garments (e.g. shoulder pads), caps, hats etc. Suitable for all fabrics. Press on the iron, step-by-step for about 12 seconds, using a damp cloth. Do not push. Washable at 30 degrees and dry cleanable, moderate heat iron.

Smooth, foamed lightweight fabric for sew-in application. Combines excellent stabilization and cushioning with a soft hand feel. Wash at 30 degrees and dry cleanable.

For topstitch work and quilting, relief work such as voluminous tiebacks or braidings, as well as for warm clothing.

Application areas

For topstitching and quilting, for three-dimensional work such as voluminous bows or borders, and warm clothing such as jackets and coats. Suitable for light- to mediumweight fabrics.

Processing

1. Lay the interlining with the coated side facing the reverse side of the fabric.
2. Cover with a damp cloth and iron for around 15 seconds, working your way along section by section and not pushing the iron.
3. After fixing, lay the pieces down flat to cool down for around 30 minutes to allow the bond to stabilise.

Application areas

For patchwork and quilting, topstitching, voluminous tie-backs and warm clothing, such as jackets and coats. Suitable for light- to medium weight fabrics.

Processing

Internally bonded, compressed polyester batting for patchwork and quilts.

Application areas

For pot holders and pot mats (use at least two layers), chairs and sofa covers, patchwork and quilting. Can also be used as an ironing pad (use at least two layers) and as an ironing cover for the protection of sensitive fabrics (pearls, sequins). Suitable for all fabrics.

Processing

Simply lay underneath and sew together. Quilting spacing: 15–20 cm. Can be used as an ironing pad and as an ironing cover to protect sensitive fabrics (beads, sequins).

Insulating wadding consists of hollow, polyester fibers needlepunched through a nonwoven substrate and through a reflective mylar. The needled material is breathable and won’t break down with washing. The hollow fibers resist conduction while the reflective mylar resists radiant energy. The energy, hot or cold, is reflected back to its source.
